Tokayev visited the Alem.ai AI center and launched the Astana Smart City project

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Alem.ai International Artificial Intelligence Center, according to Akorda.

The center provides opportunities for scientific research, educational programs, startup initiatives, and the implementation of applied solutions in artificial intelligence.

The projects being developed are aimed at introducing AI technologies into the public sector, business, and everyday life.

Overall, the center’s activities are intended to support the Head of State’s strategic course toward building a technologically advanced, modern, and competitive Kazakhstan.

As part of the President’s visit to the Alem.ai Artificial Intelligence Center, the Astana Smart City project was launched.

This is a key initiative aimed at creating a new-generation intelligent urban infrastructure.

During the presentation, Presight CEO Thomas Pramotedham demonstrated a unified AI platform that integrates the city’s data and systems in real time, as well as its practical applications for improving management efficiency.

Alem.ai is an international artificial intelligence center in Astana, created on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan to develop the country’s AI ecosystem, startups, and education.
