Tengrinews.kz — Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the 12th "Aibyn" International Youth Military-Patriotic Gathering.
The President visited the 12th "Aibyn" International Youth Military-Patriotic Gathering, which is currently taking place in the city of Shchuchinsk, Akmola Region.
The "Aibyn-2026" program included military-sports, intellectual, creative, and applied military competitions. This year, the event brought together more than 50 teams from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
In his speech, the Head of State noted that this important event tempers the spirit of the younger generation and fosters patriotism. According to him, Kazakhstan's strongest and most determined young warriors demonstrated impressive skills in this prestigious competition.
"Young representatives from friendly and brotherly nations—Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia—also tested their strength here. Today, I express my sincere gratitude to all of you. This large-scale competition is being held during a truly pivotal period for our country. In March, Kazakhstan's new Constitution was adopted. This is a historic event that defines the future of our state and directly influences the destiny of our nation. The Basic Law, which reflects the aspirations and goals of all our people, was adopted primarily for the benefit of the younger generation. The future of any country lies in the hands of patriotic, educated, hardworking, creative, and brave young people like you. It is the driven representatives of the new generation who will strengthen Kazakhstan's prestige and lead it toward progress. I have great hopes for you," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
According to the President, being a patriot means supporting state policy and strategy through action, striving to be useful to the country, and taking responsibility for the destiny of the Motherland.
