Tokayev sets tasks for the new akim of Almaty

Tengrinews.kz – Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the newly appointed akim (mayor) of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, according to Akorda.

During the meeting, President Tokayev was briefed on the key priorities for the upcoming work, including plans for socio-economic development, improving the urban environment, and enhancing the quality of life in Almaty.

The Head of State outlined a number of key tasks for the development of the city, including ensuring sustainable economic growth, diversifying the economic structure, comprehensive modernization of urban infrastructure, improving the road and transport system, and addressing environmental issues.
