Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram to Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to a statement from Akorda.
The Head of State expressed his gratitude to Xi Jinping for the hospitality and warm welcome extended to the Kazakh delegation during their official visit to China.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly praised the outcomes of the talks with the Chinese leader and reaffirmed his readiness to continue efforts aimed at strengthening the multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
As is known, on August 30, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Tianjin, China, to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
There, he held negotiations with President Xi Jinping, discussing the enhancement of trade, economic, investment, and cultural ties.
The SCO summit was held on September 1, concluding with the signing of a large package of documents related to the organization’s development strategy, security, economy, digital technologies, and ecology.
During the SCO Heads of State Council meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the key directions for the organization's development, emphasizing above all the importance of strengthening strategic partnership and mutual support among member countries.
