Tengrinews.kz - The Head of State sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of Turkey. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the national holiday – Republic Day, according to a statement from the Akorda.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that this date holds special significance for the Republic of Turkey, symbolizing its unity and progress. He also expressed confidence that the strategic cooperation between Astana and Ankara will continue to strengthen for the benefit of both countries.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan success in his responsible state activities, and prosperity and well-being for the brotherly people of Turkey.
Republic Day in Turkey (Turk. Cumhuriyet Bayramı) has been celebrated annually on October 29 since 1923 in honor of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic.
Earlier, the head of state congratulated President Petr Pavel on the Independence Day of the Czech Republic.
