Tengrinews.kz — The President of Kazakhstan sent a congratulatory telegram to the Emir of Qatar, citing a statement from Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his compatriots on the National Day of the State of Qatar.
In the telegram, the President emphasized that Kazakhstan views Qatar as a key and reliable partner in the Arab world. He noted the steady development of constructive and substantive bilateral relations and highly appreciated the Emir’s personal contribution to strengthening them.
The President of Kazakhstan wished Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani further success in his responsible post, and wished the people of Qatar well-being and prosperity.
In December 2024, the President of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to Qatar. At that time, Tokayev took part as an honorary guest in the opening ceremony of the Doha Forum conference. He also met with major Qatari investors.
