Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the director of the Institute of Diplomacy Alexey Volkov, according to a statement from Akorda.

The Head of State received the director of the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Volkov in connection with his nomination to the post of Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization for the Russian Language.

This structure was created to promote humanitarian initiatives, implement joint projects of member states in the fields of culture, science, and education. The founders of the organization are six countries: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The Institute of Diplomacy is the only center in the country that trains professional diplomatic personnel, specialists in the field of international relations. On September 10, 2021, the institute celebrated the 25th anniversary of its establishment as the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. As the legal successor of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the institute remains a necessary link in the diplomatic service system.
