Tokayev ratifies two international agreements

Tengrinews.kz – Tokayev has ratified two international agreements, according to Akorda.

President Tokayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Ratification of the Framework Agreement on the Organization of Operations in the Private Sector between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the OPEC Fund for International Development.”

This agreement guarantees long-term financing, investment protection, and flexible conditions for cooperation. The law was drafted to develop cooperation between Kazakhstan and the OPEC Fund for International Development. The agreement will make it possible to finance projects that serve the country’s interests using the Fund’s resources. In this regard, comprehensive regulation of financing mechanisms is provided for.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Ratification of the Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and Mongolia, on the other hand.”

The agreement will help develop and strengthen trade relations between the Eurasian Economic Union countries and Mongolia, and will also create favorable conditions for promoting Kazakhstani goods on the partner’s market.
