Tengrinews.kz - The head of state signed the law "On the ratification of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and the Republic of Singapore, on the other hand, and the Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its Member States, on the one hand, and the Republic of Singapore, on the other hand," according to Akorda.
The main objectives of the agreements are to create a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Singapore, as well as to attract investment to the countries of the union.
The agreements were signed on October 1, 2019 in Yerevan during a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The free trade agreement is aimed at establishing a duty-free regime for trade in goods between the countries.
