Tengrinews.kz - Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about US President Donald Trump at the fourth session of the National Kurultai in Burabay.
According to Tokayev, globalism is losing its relevance in the world, and state nationalism, the desire to divide spheres of influence, and the regionalization of world politics are coming to the fore.
"For decades, so-called democratic moral values, including LGBT, have been imposed on many countries, and under this guise, international non-governmental foundations and organizations have grossly interfered in their internal affairs. In fact, everything turned out to be simple: billions of dollars in budgets were stolen," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
As the President emphasized, the personal capital of almost all advocates of “progress and democracy,” “human rights,” “freedom of the press,” and “the fight against corruption” does not coincide with their salaries.
"Therefore, the work launched by the current American administration led by President Trump to identify large-scale abuses and expose the political hypocrisy of the 'deep state,' and restore traditional moral values deserves support," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted.
The President added that everything that is done in the United States has direct significance for the entire world.
The two-day session of the National Kurultai brings together government officials, public figures, and experts to discuss key issues shaping the country’s future.
