Tengrinews.kz - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Kit McConnell, Sports Director of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), according to a statement from Akorda.

Tengrinews.kz - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Kit McConnell, Sports Director of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), according to a statement from Akorda.

The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan's National Olympic Committee and the IOC.

"The President highlighted the key role of the International Olympic Committee in promoting Olympic values and supporting athletes. The Head of State reaffirmed Kazakhstan's readiness for continued collaboration to develop domestic sports and strengthen international partnerships," Akorda's statement read.

Kit McConnell praised the active involvement of Kazakhstan's sports community in promoting the Olympic movement and wished the Kazakh national team success in upcoming competitions.
