The program of the President of Kazakhstan’s visit to Washington began with a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and the Special Representative of the U.S. President for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor.
The participants exchanged views on key aspects of the bilateral and regional agenda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan and the United States have excellent opportunities to further strengthen their strategic partnership through economic cooperation, which will create new jobs and support industry and business.

According to the President, Kazakhstan maintains active political ties with the United States at various levels and is ready for a constructive dialogue aimed at deepening multifaceted cooperation.
As a reminder, in the night of November 6, the President of Kazakhstan arrived in Washington. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was welcomed by U.S. First Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
Tokayev is scheduled to hold talks with Donald Trump and take part in the “Central Asia – USA” C5+1 Summit.
