Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Vitaly Nesis, the CEO of Solidcore Resources plc.

The Head of State was briefed on the operational results of one of the largest companies engaged in the exploration, extraction, and processing of precious and non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan, as well as its plans for the upcoming period.

During the meeting, Tokayev learned that Solidcore Resources plc has begun implementing a project for the construction of a new hydrometallurgical complex, "Irtysh GMK," in Pavlodar. The planned capacity of the future plant is set at 300,000 tons of concentrate per year, with an expected output of Dore alloy containing up to 98 percent gold purity.

Vitaly Nesis also shared plans for constructing a geological laboratory in Karaganda with President Tokayev.

In conclusion, the Head of State emphasized the importance of the company's measures to prepare engineering personnel for the country's domestic industry.

Earlier, a new 157-hectare tourism district, planned to include hotels, restaurants, and entertainment complexes, was announced to be built in Astana.
