The President of Kazakhstan thanked Serdar Berdimuhamedow for the invitation to take part in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that this event is an important platform for exchanging views and developing practical solutions to pressing issues faced by landlocked developing countries (LLDCs).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening cooperation in trade and economics, energy, and transit and transport sectors.

The presidents reaffirmed their commitment to the comprehensive development of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
It should be noted that on August 5, in Turkmenistan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
