Tengrinews.kz — Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting in Tokyo with fellow Kazakh citizens working in Japan.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with citizens of Kazakhstan who are currently studying or working in Japan in various fields.

During the conversation with his compatriots, the Head of State emphasized the importance of learning from the experience of such developed countries as Japan.
In the course of the discussion, the President expressed confidence that this visit would give new impetus to relations between the two countries.

“The Japanese side is also paying great attention to this visit. Today I will meet with the Prime Minister. Undoubtedly, our cooperation will have strong prospects. As you know, Kazakhstan is entering a new stage of its development. This year, our economic growth exceeded six percent — a very good indicator. However, we must not stop at what has been achieved. We face tasks of reducing inflation and modernizing infrastructure. Kazakhstan must become a digital state in the future. We have major goals ahead,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
Kazakh nationals — Serik Meyrmanov, Vice President of the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and professor; Arailym Khasan, founder of ARIA Consulting; Abdibek Kalibek, associate professor at Showa and Juntendo medical universities; and Eldar Toleubay, an engineer at Ailia, a company specializing in artificial intelligence technologies — spoke about their professional achievements in the Land of the Rising Sun and shared their plans for the future.
