Earlier, President Tokayev arrived in Washington for an official visit, where he was received by U.S. First Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

On Thursday, November 6, Tokayev is scheduled to hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and participate in the Central Asia–United States (C5+1) Summit.

The C5+1 format (five Central Asian states and the United States) serves as a structured diplomatic platform initiated in 2015, aimed at advancing cooperation in economic development, security, environmental management, and regional sustainability. The mechanism operates without geopolitical alignment and alternates between high-level and ministerial sessions held every one to two years.
