The President's meeting was part of the 55th session of the Council of heads of security agencies and services from CIS countries.
Participants included the heads of delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the Executive Committee and the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center.
During the meeting, the President noted that this platform has established itself as a tool for coordinating efforts in the field of security, and in the current conditions, the role of the Council is even more significant.
“The Head of State emphasized that timely exchange of operational and analytical information enhances the effectiveness of responses to challenges and threats to regional security, fostering coordinated approaches to protect the national interests of our countries. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that the outcomes of the meeting would create conditions for further development of cooperation among the special services of the CIS states, contributing to strengthened collaboration in ensuring international security,” the statement said.
