Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Aliya Yussupova on her re-election as President of the Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation.
The discussion focused on the prospects for developing gymnastics in the country. The President was briefed on the federation's activities and its plans for the upcoming period.
"Aliya Yussupova raised several proposals on the most pressing issues in sports. She emphasized the need for comprehensive efforts to introduce children to gymnastics from an early age," Akorda's press service noted.
The President stressed the importance of close cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to ensure a systematic approach to improving industry infrastructure and training coaching staff.
