Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree recognizing workers in the energy sector, according to the Akorda press service.
The presidential decree, issued ahead of Power Engineer’s Day, honors a group of industry professionals for their dedicated service in Kazakhstan's energy sector and contributions to the country's infrastructure development.
The awards include:
- The "Parasat" (nobility) order granted to 1 individual,
- The "Qurmet" (honor) order awarded to 19 energy workers,
- The "Enbek Danky" III class order (for 5 years of service in the metallurgy industry branch) presented to 36 individuals,
- The "Eren Enbegi Ushin" (distinguished labor) medal given to 56 workers.
Power Engineer’s Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan on the third Sunday of December.
