Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, according to Akorda.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East poses a serious threat not only to regional but also to global security and stability.
The interlocutors regretfully noted that the ongoing attacks on the territories of countries not involved in the conflict are taking place at a time when the Islamic ummah should more than ever demonstrate mutual respect and patience.
Tokayev expressed his gratitude for the assistance of the Kingdom’s government in evacuating citizens of Kazakhstan back to their homeland.
In turn, the Crown Prince thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his words of support and conveyed his best wishes to the Kazakh people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The parties agreed to maintain regular political dialogue in order to bring bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, as well as to coordinate joint efforts on the international stage.
