The President of Kazakhstan sent a congratulatory telegram to President Mikheil Kavelashvili on the occasion of Georgia's Independence Day.
In his message, Tokayev highlighted Georgia’s significant achievements in strengthening democratic institutions, modernizing the economy, and improving the well-being of its citizens.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Mikheil Kavelashvili every success in his responsible public service and extended his best wishes to the friendly people of Georgia for continued progress and prosperity.
President Tokayev was invited to Georgia
Notably, in February of this year, Tokayev held talks with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
At that time, the President of Kazakhstan praised Georgia’s dynamic progress in recent years, noting the impressive results of ongoing reforms and an economic growth rate of 9.4%.
Tokayev highly valued the comprehensive development of Kazakh-Georgian relations, stating that Georgia is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the Caucasus region, with whom the country shares strong bonds of friendship and historical ties.
Earlier, the head of the Georgian government had invited President Tokayev to visit Georgia.
