Tengrinews.kz – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt on their national holiday – Revolution Day, according to Akorda.
The Head of State wished Egypt continued prosperity.
The President expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries — both bilaterally and multilaterally — will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of both nations.
Revolution Day in Egypt is a national holiday celebrated annually on July 23. It commemorates the events of 1952, when a group of officers known as the "Free Officers", led by Gamal Abdel Nasser, overthrew the monarchy of King Farouk I, ending British influence and declaring Egypt a republic. This coup, also known as the July Revolution, marked a turning point in Egypt's history, leading to significant social, political, and economic reforms.
