Tengrinews.kz — The Head of State sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated him on the national holiday — Russia Day, citing Akorda.
The President noted that Kazakhstan cherishes the relations of friendship and good-neighborliness with brotherly Russia, which are steadily developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
"Your recent state visit to Kazakhstan was of particular significance, as its outcomes opened new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation and provided a powerful impetus for the implementation of large-scale projects and initiatives. I am confident that through joint efforts, interstate ties between Kazakhstan and Russia will continue to develop dynamically in all areas," the telegram reads.
The President of Kazakhstan wished Vladimir Putin further success in his high-level state duties for the well-being and prosperity of the Russian Federation.
As a reminder: On May 27, Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the talks, the presidents discussed the current state and prospects for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. The leaders of the two countries adopted a joint statement on friendship and good-neighborliness.
On May 28, the Eurasian Economic Forum was held in Astana with the participation of the heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, followed by a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on May 29.
