Tokayev congratulates Kazakh boxers on 2025 World Championship wins

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Kazakhstani boxers on their recent achievements.

“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Sanzhar Tashkenbay and Makhmud Sabyrkhan on winning gold medals, and Nazym Kyzaibay on claiming silver,” the Akorda press release stated.

The President also wished success to all Kazakhstani boxers still preparing for their final bouts at the World Championship.

As a reminder, Sanzhar Tashkenbay became the first member of the national team to win gold at the 2025 World Championship.

Makhmud Sabyrkhan won gold in the 55 kg category at the World Boxing Championship in Liverpool, England.

Nazym Kyzaibay, Kazakhstan’s most decorated female boxer, claimed silver at the championship in Liverpool, England.
