On behalf of all Kazakh citizens and himself, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Xi Jinping and the Chinese people on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In his message, the Head of State called this day a symbol of the country's unity and integrity.
He also emphasized that China, as a global leader, makes a significant contribution to sustainable global development, ensuring international stability and security. The President noted that multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and China is dynamically developing in the spirit of comprehensive strategic partnership.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that relations between the two countries, based on friendship and good neighborliness, will continue to strengthen for the benefit of both nations. Tokayev wished Xi Jinping success in his responsible duties and prosperity and well-being to the friendly people of China," the message stated.
The founding of the People's Republic of China is the main national holiday of China, celebrated every year on October 1. The founding of the PRC was proclaimed on October 1, 1949, by Mao Zedong at a rally in Beijing's Tiananmen Square. On December 2, the Central People's Government issued a decree declaring October 1 a national holiday.
