Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Serdar Berdymukhamedov on Turkmenistan Independence Day.

In his congratulatory telegram, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted Ashgabat's notable achievements in state-building and emphasized the high standing of neutral Turkmenistan on the international stage, which has been attained through a constructive approach to building relationships with foreign partners.

"Following the spirit of centuries-old friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support, the President reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to further deepening the bilateral strategic partnership. The head of state wished Serdar Berdymukhamedov success in his responsible state activities and the fraternal people of Turkmenistan prosperity and progress," the message stated.

Earlier, President Tokayev received the Special Envoy of the President of Rwanda, Jean Paul Nyirubutama.
