Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly praised the outstanding leadership qualities of Xi Jinping, whose strategic vision is shaping the development of modern China, citing Akorda.
“In my country, President Xi is regarded as a great leader of historic scale, under whose wise and confident leadership the country is moving toward new impressive achievements in this turbulent, unpredictable world filled with mutual hostility,” the Head of State said at the opening ceremony of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai.
Tokayev recalled that in October 2029, China will mark the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China.
“Eighty years is an entire human lifetime, and for half of that time China struggled with the harmful consequences of political and economic upheavals. And in just 40 years, China has achieved incredible success in its development, completely overcoming poverty and becoming a global superpower with a widely diversified economy that includes ultra-high technologies. This achievement was made possible thanks to the leading role of the Communist Party and its competent and exceptionally capable leader, President Xi Jinping,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the opening ceremony of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, dedicated to the theme Global Solidarity in the AI Era. In his speech, the Head of State noted that the conference reflects China’s outstanding achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.
