Tengrinews.kz - King Abdullah II of Jordan has presented President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with the highest order of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Order of Al-Nahda, citing Akorda.
The monarch highlighted Tokayev’s personal contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people for the high state honor.
“I accept this award with deep respect for you, Your Majesty, as a great statesman and leader. I view this event as a symbol of the close and trusting relations between Kazakhstan and Jordan. We attach great importance to the results of our talks, which have opened up new horizons for cooperation. I am confident that the outcome of this visit will give a strong impetus to the further strengthening of our partnership, while our constructive dialogue will continue to expand, covering new areas and contributing not only to bilateral relations but also to regional and global stability,” Tokayev said.

The Order of Al-Nahda, also known as the Order of the Renaissance, was established in 1917 by Emir Hussein bin Ali. It is awarded to members of the royal family, senior officials, and individuals with outstanding merits at the national, regional, or international level.
King of Jordan calls Tokayev a “dear brother“
The King of Jordan arrived in Astana on an official visit on August 26. Akorda’s press service released footage from the welcoming ceremony of Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
Earlier this year, Tokayev made a historic first official visit to Jordan, where he was welcomed with a state ceremony including the national anthem, an honor guard, and a military salute.
