Tokayev appoints new officials in the Armed Forces

Tengrinews.kz — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has carried out personnel reshuffles in the Armed Forces.

By orders of the Head of State:

• Makhsut Guseinov has been appointed Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces and relieved of his previous post;
• Baglan Usserbayev has been appointed Commander of the troops of the Astana Regional Command.

It is worth noting that Makhsut Guseinov had served as Commander of the Astana Regional Command since November 2024.

Baglan Usserbayev previously held the post of First Deputy Commander of the troops of the West Regional Command.
