Tengrinews.kz – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held talks in a restricted format, citing Akorda.
The interlocutors noted the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan in recent years, and discussed prospects for strengthening political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to expanding cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, digitalization, space, and finance.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shehbaz Sharif exchanged views on current issues on the regional and international agenda.
It is expected that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in the Kazakh–Pakistani business forum.
