Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, according to the press service of Akorda.
The two heads of state discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation. Tokayev specifically emphasized that France is a key and reliable partner of Kazakhstan within the European Union.
Both sides expressed satisfaction that the previous high-level agreements are yielding tangible results in various sectors, including energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and healthcare.
Cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries are also developing fruitfully.
The Presidents of Kazakhstan and France also exchanged views on pressing geopolitical issues.
