Tokayev accepted letters of credence from new ambassadors

Tengrinews.kz - During a ceremony at Akorda, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received diplomatic credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of four countries and the head of the European Union delegation, according to the press service of the Head of State.

The credentials were presented by the Ambassador of France Sylvain Guiaugue, the Ambassador of the European Union Aleska Simkic, the Ambassador of Finland Janne Heiskanen, the Ambassador of Canada Christopher Duggan, and the Ambassador of Brazil Marcel Fortuna Biato.

In his welcoming remarks, the President emphasized that Kazakhstan is a nation committed to peaceful diplomacy and capable of making significant contributions to ensuring security and stability on the international stage. He also reaffirmed Kazakhstan's intention to continue close cooperation with the United Nations on global and regional security issues.

In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic missions and conveyed his best wishes to the heads of their states.

Previously, the Head of State sent a telegram to the President of Algeria.
