Tengrinews.kz — On June 4, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a speech at the national flag-raising ceremony in Astana.
During his address, the President congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the Day of State Symbols and noted that the country has chosen a path of development as a unified and creative nation.
"Today, Kazakhstan is renewing its model of statehood. We have chosen the path of development as a unified and creative nation. There is every reason to say that the past few years have become a period of historic turning point for our country. Large-scale reforms are providing new momentum across all sectors. Particularly profound changes are occurring in public consciousness. The substance and approaches of domestic policy have been revitalized," the President stated.
He also noted that values such as solidarity, industriousness, discipline, and thrift are taking root in Kazakhstan, while the worldview and behavioral patterns of citizens are evolving.
"Our compatriots strive to live in a Just, Cultured, Clean, and Safe country. This is why our society is establishing a zero-tolerance policy toward any offenses or illegal acts. Great work lies ahead. I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will successfully achieve the tasks set before us," the Head of State remarked.

During his speech, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also emphasized that as a civilized and progressive nation, we must be confident in our own strength and act boldly, without looking back at anyone else.
