July 1: Partly cloudy, rain during the day, with thunderstorms. Westerly to northwesterly winds at 3–8 m/s at night, increasing to 9–14 m/s during the day. Night temperatures 10–12°C, daytime 26–28°C.
July 2: Partly cloudy, no rain. Westerly winds shifting to southeasterly, 9–14 m/s. Night temperatures 13–15°C, daytime 28–30°C.
July 3: Partly cloudy, no rain. Southeasterly winds 9–14 m/s. Night temperatures 13–15°C, daytime 31–33°C.
Weather in Almaty
July 1: Partly cloudy, no rain. Northeasterly winds 3–8 m/s. Night temperatures 18–20°C, daytime 31–33°C.
July 2: Partly cloudy, no rain. Northeasterly to easterly winds 3–8 m/s. Night temperatures 18–20°C, daytime 32–34°C.
July 3: Partly cloudy, no rain. Northeasterly to easterly winds 3–8 m/s. Night temperatures 18–20°C, hot daytime temperatures are 34–36°C.
Earlier, forecasters reported that a cyclone with thunderstorms and hail would hit Kazakhstan over the next three days, while abnormal heat of up to 44°C would set in in the south and center. They also warned of strong winds and dust storms in some regions.
