April 22 — partly cloudy, rain and thunderstorms late in the day. Southwesterly wind at 9–14 m/s. Air temperature: +8 to +10°C at night, +20 to +22°C during the day.

Weather forecast for Almaty

April 20 — partly cloudy, no precipitation. Northeasterly wind at 3–8 m/s. Air temperature: +6 to +8°C at night, +16 to +18°C during the day.

April 21 — partly cloudy, no precipitation. Northeasterly wind at 3–8 m/s. Air temperature: +10 to +12°C at night, +22 to +24°C during the day.

Earlier, Kazhydromet issued its advisory weather forecast for May 2026 in Kazakhstan. According to specialists, the country as a whole is expected to experience warmer-than-usual weather, with unevenly distributed precipitation.

In Astana, the average temperature in May is expected to be around +16.1°C, which is 1.6°C above normal. In Almaty, the average air temperature in May is forecast at around +19°C, which is 1.9°C above normal.
