According to the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average exchange rate of the dollar settled at 496.41 tenge, decreasing by 2.47 tenge. Notably, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank for March 18 stands at 499.04 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, the average dollar exchange rate in Almaty’s exchange offices is 495.99 tenge for buying and 498.40 tenge for selling. In Astana, the rates are 495.21 tenge for buying and 501.11 tenge for selling.

Meanwhile, in Russia, the calculated exchange rate of the dollar dropped below 81 rubles for the first time since June 2024.
