Tengrinews.kz - The U.S. dollar exchange rate in Kazakhstan as of August 18.
At the end of the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the average weighted exchange rate of the dollar stood at 540.00 tenge, down by 0.93 tenge. For comparison, the official rate set by the National Bank of Kazakhstan for August 18 is 540.87 tenge per dollar.
According to kurs.kz, as of now, the average buying rate for the dollar in Almaty’s exchange offices is 539.55 tenge, while the selling rate is 541.48 tenge. In Astana, the dollar is being bought at an average of 535.64 tenge and sold at 542.64 tenge.
Earlier, analysts issued a forecast for the dollar exchange rate in September.
