Tengrinews.kz – The Kazakh tenge showed slight gains following the holiday period, with the national currency appreciating against the US dollar on March 26.

Tengrinews.kz – The Kazakh tenge showed slight gains following the holiday period, with the national currency appreciating against the US dollar on March 26.

According to the results of the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the average weighted exchange rate for the US dollar settled at 501.81 tenge, down 0.99 tenge from the previous session. The official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kazakhstan for March 26 stands at 502.83 tenge per dollar.

As reported by kurs.kz, the average dollar buying rate in Almaty’s exchange offices is 500.46 tenge, while the selling rate is 502.58 tenge. In Astana, the dollar is being bought at around 498.00 tenge and sold at 504.00 tenge.
