Tengrinews.kz – A Telegram office will open in the capital of Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev.
The Minister said that Kazakhstan is establishing cooperation with messengers such as Telegram and Meta.
"Today, we are opening an office on Telegram, registering an office on the basis of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). A Telegram office will already be presented in Astana Hub. A specific person has already been assigned who is responsible for content moderation," Zhaslan Madiyev said at a plenary session of the Senate.
Earlier, Zhaslan Madiyev reported that Telegram would open a representative office in Kazakhstan. However, the minister did not specify the exact location.
