Tengrinews.kz – Officers of the criminal police in Almaty, together with the Alatau District Police Department and with the participation of a police special forces unit, detained a group of individuals suspected of committing a series of apartment burglaries, according to Polisia.kz.
The operations were carried out as part of proactive crime-prevention measures aimed at preventing property-related offenses.
“We carried out targeted work to identify individuals committing thefts in the district. Thanks to the coordinated actions of police officers and special units, we were able to quickly detain the suspects and seize the stolen property, which will allow us to return it to the owners,” said Edilhan Baigaraev, head of the Alatau District Police Department.
Head of the Criminal Police Department of the Almaty Police Department Ashat Dauletiyarov noted that this case demonstrates the effectiveness of the proactive operations regularly conducted by the police.
“We will continue our work to detect and curb such crimes in order to ensure the safety of citizens and their property. The possible involvement of the detainees in similar offenses is currently being established. Investigative and operational measures are ongoing,” Dauletiyarov concluded.
