Tengrinews.kz – JSC “Passenger Transportation” is launching 11 additional railway routes for the upcoming summer season.
According to the press service of the national carrier, the schedule now includes new trains as well as increased service frequency on several routes.
From June to September, three Talgo trains, five standard trains, and additional carriages on three other trains will operate:
- Train № 253/254 Astana – Dostyk (Talgo): 2 times a week;
- Train № 207/208 Almaty – Zhalanashkol (Talgo): by date schedule;
- Train № 211/212 Almaty – Dostyk (Talgo): every other day;
- Train № 221/222 Almaty – Dostyk: 3 times a week;
- Train № 457/458 Semey – Dostyk: every other day;
- Train № 459/460 Oskemen – Dostyk: every other day.
Additional carriages:
- Almaty – Dostyk: every other day;
- Kyzylorda – Dostyk: every other day;
- Pavlodar – Dostyk: every other day;
- Train № 201/202 Astana – Almaty: daily;
- Train № 203/204 Astana – Shymkent: daily.
According to JSC “Passenger Transportation,” the increase in train routes will allow the company to carry over 270,000 passengers on the newly added services.
Tickets are available 45 days in advance at the official website bilet.railways.kz and at railway station ticket offices.
