Summer in Kazakhstan will begin with 40-degree heat

Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for May 30, 31, and June 1.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms

According to the forecast, unstable weather is expected in the north, south, and west of Kazakhstan over the next three days as atmospheric fronts pass through, bringing rain and thunderstorms.

"On May 30-31, the West Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Mangystau, Aktobe, and Kostanay regions will see heavy rain, hail, and squally winds. The rest of the country will remain mostly dry," meteorologists said.

Wind speeds are expected to increase across the republic, with dust storms forecast for the south.

Temperature outlook

Temperatures across Kazakhstan are expected to rise, with daytime highs reaching +20...+25 degrees in the west, +23...+38 degrees in the north, east, and center, and +30...+40 degrees in the south.
