Special guests to receive invitations for Kairat vs Real Madrid match

Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports, Serik Zharasbayev, has explained who will receive free invitations to the upcoming Champions League match between Almaty’s Kairat and Spain’s Real Madrid.

Speaking at a briefing, he said that part of the seats at Almaty’s Central Stadium will not be sold, as they are reserved for special guests.

“These are not tickets but invitations, mainly for international guests, including UEFA representatives, international observers, and honorary guests. Naturally, FC Kairat will provide the invitations,” Zharasbayev said.

He added that around 60 media representatives will also be accredited, though the list of outlets will be announced later. Fan club arrangements will be handled directly by Kairat, with a special sector designated for supporters.

As for general ticket sales, Zharasbayev said they will begin 10 days before the match, in the third week of September.

Kairat will play Real Madrid in their historic first-ever home match in the Champions League group stage on September 30.

Earlier, the Almaty police issued a warning about counterfeit tickets ahead of the match.
