Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet meteorologists have released a weather forecast for Kazakhstan for February 13, 14, and 15.
According to the forecast, unstable weather will persist across most of Kazakhstan in the coming days. The northern regions will remain under the influence of a trough from a northern cyclone, while the southern regions will be affected by a southern cyclone. As a result, snowfall and blizzards are expected. Heavy snowfalls are forecasted in several regions:
- February 14 – Kyzylorda region;
- February 14-15 – Turkestan region;
- February 15 – Zhambyl, Almaty, and Zhetysu regions.
During the daytime in the south and southeast, mixed precipitation—wet snow with rain—may occur, leading to icy conditions.
Additionally, strong winds and fog are expected throughout the country, which may reduce visibility on the roads.
"The temperature background will remain stable, and no sharp changes are expected," meteorologists added.
