Snowfall and blizzards: storm warning issued across Kazakhstan

Kostanay Region – At night in the north and east, light snow, blowing snow, and icy conditions are expected; during the day in the west and north, precipitation (rain, snow), blowing snow, and icy conditions. Fog in the west, north, and east. Northwest wind shifting to southwest, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the west, north, and east. In Kostanay, northwest wind shifting to southwest, daytime gusts of 15–20 m/s.

Ulytau Region – At night, light precipitation in the west and center; in the east: rain and snow. During the day in the east: light precipitation (rain, snow). At night in the west, east, and center, and during the day in the east: icy conditions and blowing snow. Southwest wind shifting to northwest; at night gusts of 15–20 m/s in the north, east, south, and center, with gusts up to 23 m/s in the east and south. In Zhezkazgan, icy conditions and blowing snow at night. Southwest wind shifting to northwest, nighttime gusts 15–18 m/s.
