Earlier, forecasters said a cyclone moving in from the Ural region will cross Kazakhstan between February 17 and 19, bringing precipitation, icy conditions and blizzards. From February 18, an anticyclone moving south from the Helsinki area is expected to cause temperatures in northern regions to drop to −18…−23°C, with precipitation gradually easing. Meanwhile, southern regions could see temperatures rise to +15…+20°C.
