Sharp cooldown and snowfall are expected in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have released the weather forecast for April 7, 8, and 9.

Heavy rains to sweep across Kazakhstan

According to meteorologists, residents of most of Kazakhstan will experience unstable weather typical of spring.

“Rain is expected, while in the north and northwest there will be precipitation in the form of rain and snow. At times, heavy rain is forecast in the west and south, and heavy precipitation in the north. Stronger winds are expected across the country, with hail and squalls in western and southern Kazakhstan,” the forecasters said.

Only the eastern part of the country is expected to remain dry. Fog is also forecast during the night and morning hours.

What about temperatures?

In northern and northwestern Kazakhstan, daytime temperatures are expected to drop to +3 to +15°C.
