Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for July 17, 18, and 19.
Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and squalls
Most parts of Kazakhstan will see rain and thunderstorms due to passing atmospheric fronts. On July 17, heavy rains are expected in the west; on July 18, in the northwest; on July 18–19, in the north; and on July 19, in central Kazakhstan — along with possible hail and squalls. Wind intensification is expected across the country.
Extreme heat: up to +46°C in the south
In the west and southwest, extremely hot weather is expected with temperatures reaching 41–44°C; in the southeast — 42–43°C. On July 17, the northwest will see extreme heat around 40°C; on July 18, the center of the country; and on July 18–19, the south will face temperatures of 45–46°C.
Sharp cooling
In the northern regions, temperatures are expected to drop significantly by the end of the period: nighttime lows of 8–18°C and daytime highs of 17–25°C.
