Tengrinews.kz – An emergency power outage occurred in several districts of Almaty.
According to the Alatau Zharyk Company’s emergency outage map, the following areas are currently without electricity:
- Taugul microdistrict;
- Dostyk microdistrict;
- Satpaev, Karasai Batyr, Tlendiyev, and Rozybakiev streets;
- Raiymbek Avenue, Rozybakiev, Kurilskaya, and Galileya streets;
- Suyunbay, Raiymbek, and Nazarbayev Avenues.
Electricity is expected to be temporarily unavailable for about two hours.
The cause of the outage is being investigated, and a repair crew is currently working on-site.

Earlier, Alatau Zharyk Company reported that maintenance work on power lines was scheduled for this week. Power cuts will only occur in exceptional cases, when it is technically impossible to switch consumers to an alternative power source.
