The accident occurred on December 23 on the heating main in the Medeu district along Nazarbayev Avenue. According to the emergency service of LLP "Almaty heat networks," the damage occurred due to wear of the pipeline.
The company's press service reported that due to the damage, heat supply was limited for consumers in the area of Satpayev - Dostyk, Taimanova streets, as well as the Samal 1, 2, and 3 microdistricts.
"The repair and construction service of LLP 'ALTS' is working on promptly eliminating the damage, the expected time for restoring heat supply is until 1 AM on December 24," the statement said.
The department reminded that in the event of any emergency (release of water, steam, etc.), it is strongly recommended not to take independent action and report the incident by calling the following numbers: +7 (727) 378-06-65 (24 hours), +7 (727) 341-07-77 (from 8 AM to 6 PM) or 109.
